Crooks
& Castle
There comes to a point in your life, that one day you
decide to be rebellious, and root for the villain, whether it is in a comic
book and you decide to be like Magneto and go against the good, a particular
song that moves and motivates you to take action like “Quite Storm” from Mobb
Deep, or in a movie like Scarface where Tony Montana is the most imitated influential
villain, possibly of all-time.
Well, Dennis Calvero and Robert Panlilio came to that
point early in their careers. Their influence came from...
being surrounded by gangs, living in Los Angles their whole life. Growing up in the 80’s and 90’s both Dennis and Robert loved the independent fashion graphic brands. That’s what started them to create their own fashion graphic t-shirts.

After being in business for several years, they finally
created the formula for what they envisioned in their graphic t-shirts. Their
new brand is called “Crooks & Castle”, with the simple concept of
highlighting crooks, criminals, pimps, hustlers, thieves, etc. and for those
who got rich and got their own version of their castle by becoming a “Crook”.
The brand represents “those who stop at nothing to get to their castle”. Thus, Dennis and Roberts motto is “behind
every castle, lies a crook”.
